📜 CLARITY Act Update: Crypto Bill Delayed to September After Senate Recess

The US Senate delayed consideration of the CLARITY Act until September after lawmakers failed to reach a bipartisan agreement before the August recess. Negotiations will continue over disputed provisions including crypto ethics rules, banking concerns and changes needed to secure the 60 votes required for passage.

Crypto hackers stole an estimated $247.4 million in July, making it the second-worst month of 2026. The Coldcard exploit dominated the month and accounted for roughly 46% of stolen funds.
