Pavel Durov, the 39-year-old entrepreneur behind Telegram, was arrested on Saturday night at Le Bourget airport.
Max Keiser commented on the arrest in an X post, and believes it proves that Bitcoin is the only truly secure cryptocurrency.
According to Keiser, altcoins like XRP and Cardano (ADA) are much more susceptible to legal challenges compared to Bitcoin.
On the other hand, the crypto community is speculating that if Satoshi Nakamoto's identity were revealed, Bitcoin might face similar legal risks as seen in the Durov case.
Durov’s status is still unclear as French authorities have so far refused to cooperate with the Russian embassy.
On Aug. 25, at around 12:00 PM PST, Telegram posted an official statement on its Telegram News channel. It stated that Telegram fully supports CEO Pavel Durov and hopes for a swift resolution to the situation.
The exact charges against Durov, or whether he has been officially arrested, are still unclear.
Some reports suggest Durov may have been arrested on charges related to the supposed lack of moderation on the Telegram platform, but no concrete details have been shared with the public just yet.
Other tokens in the SHIB ecosystem, including BONE and LEASH, will also play a role in the DAO governance process.
Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, announced on Aug. 25 that the team plans on launching a DAO that will allow SHIB holders to vote on future initiatives and influence the project's direction.
The DAO will be governed by two councils: the "Charity Council" and the "Culture & Heritage Council."
BONE holders will prioritize education and innovation, while LEASH holders will focus on inclusivity and transparency in the project.
Polygon’s Discord server has been recovered after a three-hour hijack by hackers.
Polygon community members discovered some unusual activity on the support channel, where hackers flooded it with scam links while posing as legitimate agents.
The breach raised serious concerns about Polygon's security protocols, even though Polygon assured its community that two-factor authentication was enabled for all privileged accounts.
The incident happened in the middle of preparations for Polygon's major network upgrade, transitioning from its native token, MATIC, to a new token, POL, that is set to launch on Sept. 4.
